If you need a help i can write a little guide. Hi Faust, I have the same laptop as you and would love to get it working as a hackintosh. I tried to do it before but I totally failed.
If you could write a guide specifically for VGN-FW11E owners like me then that would be awesome. I look forward to your reply. PS - Have you got everything working or have you added extra hardware like external speakers and an external wifi dongle, etc? Asio Driver For Mac
Only i have taken care while installing leopard is after updating combo patch 10.6.8 i have installed voodoo ps2 drivers so that the keyboard and mouse are working fine. All the keys are responding as if mac hardware. Even sound drivers are patched correctly using appleHD and voodooHDA kexts. I have updated lion so no problem with the previous drivers. I a stuck at network, display (working with default 1024x600 resolution) and wifi drivers. When i tried with AppleHD3100FB kext the display crashed.
The GMX4500HD drivers are still yet to be set for correct resolution and display properties. The sleep, power wakeup and problems are also set.
