It works fine. I've been using MXO2 with Wircast for months. First set MXO2 input in its PrefPane. Deactivate MAX if you have that. Open Wirecast Delete all the blue thumbnails.

Open Shot Editor and delete all the blu thumbnails there too. Open Windows/Show Device Manager. Uncheck ALL the Matrox MXO2 boxes. Check the box that exactly matches your source. You nee to know that.

It depends on what you set in MXO2 PrefPane and what your camera and setting it's using. Quit Wirecast. Open Wirecast and you'll see one thumbnail which is the setting you've chosen.

Craig - you can actually use 2 cameras with the MX02 Mini (1 on HDMI, and 1 on Component inputs), but you have to use Matrox's tools in System Preferences to switch between cameras. The only preview you have between the cameras is Wirecast's preview window, so if you have something to cut away to you can cut between. Otherwise, you get a slightly disjointed-looking cut when switching between cameras. This is the quick-and-dirty approach to inputting 2 cameras.

The other benefit is that your computer and Wirecast is only decoding one camera at a time (as the MX02 is only passing one camera's signal at a time). Craig, I have used the mxo2 le successfully in the past with wirecast. Now, I can't see my hd-sdi 720p 59.94 signal. Upgraded to 4.1.3 cannot get matrox mxo2 le to get hd-sdi input working. I have used the maxtrox before with wirecast. Not sure if the latest update in lion, wirecast, or matrox stopped it from working. I tried all the previous versions of the matrox drivers and nothing, also rolled back to 4.1.2 and cannot get my matrox mxo2 le to ingest to wire cast.

I am using wirecast successfully on a mac pro 10.7.3 and wirecast 4.1.3 and a black magic card. I cant seemed to get the mxo2 le working like it used to. Any thoughts? Current Wirecast compatible Matrox driver is 2.6.1 and OS 10.8.5. Matrox is beta testing the driver for OS 10.9.1 Other than that, nothing has changed.

Set camera output. Select proper inputs in Matrox drive in System Preference Pane. In Wirecast Source Settings select the camera output setting.
